Fun Crafty & Thrifty Project:
I wanted to add a decorative pillow to my bedding when my husband and I were newly weds, but we had no money to go out and buy one. I started to get thrifty and crafty all at the same time! (Which can be dangerous for anyone who is in my path as I'm racing around the house to find things that could work for my upcoming project)! :) I found an old place mat and started picking at its seams. I unpicked one side completely, found some random quilting batting (from another previous project), and began stuffing that place mat full! After it started looking like a pillow, I took the unpicked side and ran it through my sewing machine to seal it up. And wallah I made myself a decorative pillow in 5 minutes! (Give or take a few).
